Also, this play is actually a fanfiction. The character Rosalind was plucked out of another writer's work, Rosalynde. Probably why her character feels so flushed out and iconic already to start. Yeah, love her. Shakespeare was a fangirl apparently. Respect.

Just finished Act 1. Im loving this way more than I expected. I thought that reading this would feel like an academic study, but it's really quite entertaining. I love Rosalind and Celia. They are such an iconic duo already. So funny and full of wit. Orlando is also a likeable character so far. Gonna have to look up where I can see this play irl when I finish.

This is already starting out way better than I anticipated. The humor is so great. I love Lucy, she is hilarious. Her mom is also so wonderful. All the characters feel very fresh and exciting. I cannot put it down.

The found family trope in these books makes me want to cry, its so sweet🥹

This is adorable. Always loved Maisie's character so its so cute to read from her perspective. As a clawen shipper, I adore the domestic Claire and Owen fluff we get from this. Basically, Im reading a canon published domestic clawen family fanfiction. Its great on this side of the lake.

Its so nice to read characters who are intelligent and mature. I feel like lots of stories rely on characters to make poor decisions to move plot along. Its great to read a character that thinks things through and doesnt make impulsive decisions. She reacts to the world around her with thought out plans and calculates the different outcomes before taking action. Feels more real and exciting to read

This story is soooo juicy. Omg. The plot is fantastic. Love love love this. The characters are also fantastic. There are slight grammar mistakes here and there probably due to fast paced publishing im assuming. But I can totally overlook that bc this story line is so good and believable for this franchise. Im reading this on my nook and the default font size is large. I changed it to be smaller font, and it already reads more serious and sophisticated in my mind. Font size bias is a thing.
This book is actually pretty good. There are a lot of good one liners here and I only just hit chpter5. Also Claire Dearing only becomes more and more relatable and its bringing back all the 2015 hype. Wow im having such a great time

I started reading this bc im a sucker for JW + Claire Dearing + just wanted to nerd out. I wasnt expecting this to be good, so far the writing is just okay, but I am LOVING the internal narration of Claire. Im realizing that I've never actually read a character as ambitious as her and the internal dialogue speaks so much truth for an ambitious young woman in the modern era and I just feel SO SEEN. I love Claire.

This book is good and so cute. I love Tova and Marcellus; love their coastal town, Sowell Bay, love the aquarium, and the Knit-Wits. This book is full of such pleasant surprises. Also, the colors of this new cover release make me feel so happy just looking at it. Hearts all-round 🧡🩵🧡🩵
