I am having a hard time with Killian... =/

So far on my journey...
Character is a sociopath teenager (?) with an obsession with a naive boy that he feels the desire to protect (M/M cliche #1)

...But that is where M/M cliches end. It is dystopia in truest sense. Horrifying and sooo violent. UGH. But...cannot stop reading even if I take 6 months to read...

This book is as long as original Evenfall...I have not made a dent. *taking breaks*

Mmm. I don't know what I am getting into but why not?? Looks more interesting than the usual romances...

I need a book...with action and very good sex but without quickly escalated feels or corny tropes. Tall order!

I'm wincing... There is a lot in this book that is bothering me and I couldn't think how to explain until I went hunting through reviews that had the same thoughts. Maybe my outcome will be better? I really want to like this book.

Everyone wants to do Kate but I'm not sure what she looks like.

I am torn so far...I want to like this book but the voice of the narrator and the information dumping is turning me off.

The writing is some of the best I have seen in LGBT novels in months, but the author is trying to do a lot and it is almost too much. In only few pages, many different lores, supernatural beings, and backstories...

World building is as subtle as a brick in the head...
