Probably a five but I'll let it sit for a bit

I'm slowly reading this book, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone working/living in a different culture. Its amazing

I saw a girl reading a part of this book on TikTok (a list about reasons to stay alive) and it peeked my interest. I already knew Matt Haig from "The midnight library" in which the main character tries to kill herself. This book seems like the real experience that inspired that one, the author's story with depression. I'm really liking it and I'm discovering new things I didn't know, like the mix with anxiety

Me cuesta este libro, está escrito hermoso, con muchas frases subrayables pero tiene un ambiente de tedio, el personaje no se banca al portero, a la vecina, a su madre, a su hermana, su trabajo..

I find the idea of the book super original, a pact with the devil for one more day of your life in exchange for removing one type of thing from the world. What do we really need? What would be your limit? What's really important for you that you would choose to stop and just die?

Loving it

I can say this book is really well written but it feels sooo slow and I'm really tired of *the mistery* about what happened 12 YEARS AGO!! Omg can you just move on with your life. I think it's just me that I don't like the "second chance" trope also

I'm finding this book really interesting, specially as someone that lives and work between cultures

The book has the POV of an octopus 🐙 in a zoo and an elder woman that works there, really original and nice. I LOVE the octopus, it's smart and funny. But the first part of the book has too many characters and story lines for an audiobook, I think it's kind of a slow burn in that sense

It's included in audible membership and I'm really liking the main story, not so much the missions. I mainly picked it because is from Scott Meyer, obviously!

I'm needing a feel good book and this one was recommended by a friend as one of the tops written rom-coms 🙏

I'll let this book sink in a bit before giving a review but definitely between a 4 and a 5. A lot of 5 parts, tech life, friendship, love, gaming and some really good writting and technics

Estoy AMANDO este libro. Sabía que viajes en el tiempo y escritor japonés me iban a gustar pero además está muy bien escrito y las historias son hermosas.

I'm having problems with the audiobook I don't seem to get hooked in the book D: is it a slow burn? Except the parts where have really modern ideas about women for the time, everything else seems too much explanation about other people and families

Este libro es una locura, lo amo. La forma de escribir los diálogos, el uso de refranes a diestra y siniestra, la poca utilización de puntos, los constantes juegos con las palabras relacionadas con la ceguera. Y, por otro lado, la historia, los giros, los personajes. Anoche me desvelé leyendo.

Okay it was slow and I was going to drop it when she started explaining too much how Alice WAS 16 after time traveling so it was okay for her to like the boys she used to when she that age the first time, just so no one thinks she was a pedophile 🙄 BUT it got MUCH BETTER at the middle of part 2. More about time traveling and about the father. I'm happy I sticked with it

The begging is full of cliches, I'm really expecting the time travelling part to save this book :/ 40 to 16 is not really original but maybe its good

Me atrapó mucho el comienzo por los personajes, la historia de las trabas y su vida al borde de la sociedad dónde fueron excluidas. Pero en un momento me empezó a costar volver al libro... Siento que le falta un hilo conductor marcado, va y vuelve mucho, no me da curiosidad que va a pasar. Seguiré intentando.

Voy a esperar a discutirlo con mi club de lectura para opinar. Pero ya sé que uno de los cuentos de este libro va a mí lista de cuentos favoritos 🤯
