Excellent book! Could not put it down. I'm usually not one for stories like this, but it was so well written (& researched). Louie never gave up in any situation he was in. The story gives tremendous insight into WWII over the pacific. The perseverance of Louie despite his circumstances is nothing short of inspiring.

Great book. I had already seen movie, but book provides so much more indepth info of what is going on in their heads.
