This book is weird and I don’t know how much I like it except that I’m still reading it, mainly to see if Gerald escapes.

I hate everyone in this story.

The squatting situation is making this book less believable and I am losing patience. Upon researching a little bit, these people wouldn’t qualify for any squatters rights in the UK. I’m more angry about this inconsistency than I am about their situation. Ugh.

This is very in your face.

I love the ending.

This is pretty good so far. I am glad I waited until now to read it because it’s not my “type” of book.
Some of the science is going over my head and leaving me very mildly bored in some slow areas.
I just got to chapter 20 though and it’s intense so far.

I still think Poe is odious.
Just as much as the antagonist.

So far, we have embed a lot of I suspect there is a big twist in here somewhere. I am positive this dog is going to live though.
I don’t really care for Poe so far. She is….guarded, even in her own thoughts. I do not have a sense of what she is like, as a person.

What kind of book is this?!?!
And they want to make it into a movie?!?
Who would willingly put themselves through this trauma?!?

I am really enjoying this one but it has started to feel a bit repetitive. Great character study and reflective female driven novel.
