Oh my…

So this book has pictures included in the ebook version and a playlist on Spotify. The only reason I know this is because I also own the ebook. The playlist sets the atmosphere and I really like it, but I wish they would’ve included it in the book as well.

So far, the story is great 👍🏼 but I already know that since I’m restarting again.

I liked it but it does seem too neat. I thought this would be more horror and less thriller so that’s disappointing..

Also this could be me but it felt like there was some weird religious undertones. Like don’t be racist but make sure you believe in God. I understand everything was done for a reason but it seemed a bit forced. Again it can be me, because these topics are usually used for agendas whether neg/pos

I got a spooked earlier when I was alone and it was getting dark, and the creepy drawings were popping up.. not anymore though lol. I hope this ends well. It seems straightforward but idk..

Also the dad, Ted, got really creepy there

Pretty good so far. Don’t know where this is headed yet so that’s a positive

The processing plant earlier in the book is crazy..
This whole world is fucked up. There isn’t a lot of gore but it’s disturbing

I like the art but I hope it doesn’t get weird and make me uncomfortable..

The ending was realistic and Silas’ way of thinking was fantastic.


I appreciate the note at the end, especially the emphasis on how important it is to acknowledge how badly minorities have been treated throughout history

Dead girls spooky but how they ended up there is tragic. The way women are treated is horrific. I’m glad I live in the place and time I do

It’s a really good book so far

The narrator for this audiobook gets a little confusing when there is the inner voice and different girls speaking They all sound alike

Thoughts:
Damn Dacre is a monster feeding the weakest workers to the hounds.

Attie and Tobias are cute

Roman slowly regaining his memories and I’m surprised Dacre tells him things he plans to do..

The connection between Iris and Roman is the focus but I prefer Iris’ pov

Interesting so far. The heist seemed too easy

Darce seems like an asshole and I want to see Enva!!

I thought Roman would become more of a villian instead of just losing his memory.

I wonder what’s going to happen. I hope it doesn’t bore me 🤞🏼
