It’s been so long since I read the first one so I don’t remember a lot of things but I’m just going to wing it.

I’m just here for the drama lmao

So far I can say that both main characters are horrible and they shouldn’t be friends with each other. I see quite a lot people side with Ellie but I am on Robin’s side on this one 🤨

The Hunger Games lasted waaayyy too long in my opinion. It has taken me nearly a month to just get through the first half 😓

I wonder if this first part of the book is actually dragging or if it’s my lack of focus 🙇🏻‍♀️

I haven’t been able to do much reading lately but I powered through 15% more and shit it’s popping off now. People are getting kidnapped and unalived left and right; there’s mistrust and still lots of questions?!! Also, I feel that I must go to church after that last smut scene I read🥹

I found it unrealistic for Corio to turn evil just because Lucy left him but reading the book has allowed me to really see how his character was already showing signs of viciousness; from the slight jealousy he displayed towards his “friend” Sejanus. Little things here and there. I think he could have ultimately become evil without meeting Lucy Gray.

So many questions! I hope this doesn’t end in a cliffhanger

It’s quite annoying when a strong and independent female character starts to bring herself down due to overthinking things about the male love interest…but I guess that’s easy to say when I know both sides of the story. Could easily be me lmaoooo 😅

I don’t know if I’m just not concentrating enough but the plot of this book is not as fun and intense as the past two books.

I’ll be honest. When I read this the first time as a teen, I was never crazy about Will Herondale like most people were. Now as an adult I can see that the reason is because I could never take him seriously. I know there’s specific reasons for his attitude but even then I still don’t like his personality much. I have and will always be a Jem girl 😌

I swear this book has be cackling so much. Poppy is something else 😅

I am enjoying this one a lot. The main character is so unhinged and witty 😂

Been in the mood for fantasy but something not too complicated so middle-grade it is!

So far this is unlike anything I have read before and I am intrigued but definitely keeping an open mind to what Dr. Joe has to say. I am currently listening on audio and I finding it a bit tough to follow since there is a lot to unpack within each chapter. I will have to pause and get the physical copy instead or else everything he is saying will go right over my head.

I understand her, though. They are both in political positions where they believe a life together is not possible and although she loves him too, denying him will be less hurtful than giving in knowing that ultimately they can’t. Or so they think lol

I don’t want this book to end so I’m dragging it out as much as I can and only reading 1-2 chapters every other day 😅

I started this on audio book and been listening during my commutes to/from work. Always appreciate learning about how other people manage money and I have already applied some of Aliche’s strategies.

I haven’t been reading much of it because there’s so much conflict happening at once and my brain can’t handle it lol

I like how Bishop begins each chapter with an affirmation and dives into discussion. I also like how he’s blunt about things and doesn’t sugar coat anything. Other than that, it’s an okay book to me.
