His new name should be Dr. Sinister. I’m a couple chapters in and I like it so far.

So far I like it but it feels slowish. Also, why are there a huge amount of words abbreviated?! It’s kinda annoying. I also feel like a few sentences are repetitive in a chapter.

I’m only a few chapters in this book and I’m really not feeling it…yet.

Ughhhh. I wanna know what happened to the main characters to be this awkward thus far! I do love the way the chapters switch between present day and the past. It’s a very inviting book.

Just read chapter 1.

If I weren’t already aware of people and things in society that social workers have to face, then I’d be surprised. Honestly I skipped the tomato poem; I love tomatoes and appreciate the storyline there.. however I’m here for the social work. Interesting background of how she became a social worker. Looking forward to reading more.

While I really, really love seeing St Pete and Tampa mentioned in this book, I really hope if this stuff really was going on… I’m glad that I didn’t know about it when I was living there. It’s a thriller so far and I’m only about 25-30% in.

Picked this up from the school library. I love how a student—after her favorite book was pulled from the shelves—problem solved and came up with a way for other students to read banned books. I’m sure she’s going to eventually get into trouble, but it’s something worth getting into trouble for….

So far this will hang out in did not finish. It’s hard keeping up with the story in this book for some reason.

Struggling reading this at a faster pace. Not because it’s a hard read, its because of the sad details/content. Sigh. 💔
