Did nobody edit this. Why does a book about pollen have so much "kids these days with their electronics don't have to walk up hills or have adventures"

Nothing like getting halfway through a book and realizing the author is very confidently stating things that a 15-second internet search can disprove.

Well... chapter 3 completely devolved into a (white, male) professor complaining about how kids these days just don't respect their elders. Hoping the rest of the book is more than just a thinly veiled rant.

Super neat to be reading about how much a president will blatantly lie to the American people to get support for an illegitimate war right now. Super.neat.
