I can't wait for this book to be over, reading it feels like a chore. I should have quit reading chapters ago. I keep waiting for something interesting to happen. Entertain me, damn it.

Audiobook: so far the narrator has made quite a lot of really odd pronunciations of really basic words. It's a free audiobook, so...

so far it is doing a really good job helping me sleep. North and South was much more interesting.

I'm nervous. I've waited so long for new Maggie. It's making me sweaty.

so far all i am is confused.
is it a sequel? or a retelling of the original story. why is she now an only child...
do i need to pretend my brilliant career never happened. somebody help me.

man this one is slow. so many of these characters are such a waste of time and space and add nothing to the story.

this is basically the same as One Day. uf either of these two die before ending up together or hit by a bus right after they finally 'do it' i will throw book into fiery pits of Mt Doom.
