why is this book so. funny.

I fear I love this book

so far I hate it! The writing feels flat flat flat. it’s kinda like when people are discussing an inside joke but you can’t even bother to want to be part of it. And it’s actually not funny at all. in fact it’s sort of fucked up.

The middle of this book is an absolute slog so far. I'm not going to dnf it at this point but I want to. Tobias is weird and I find myself audibly groaning every time he shows up

oof Chapter 4: The Sovran Planter is my favourite so far. This chapter alone should be a must read for anyone.
