I can't say I've found much poetry that I enjoy (or understand completely- if I'm being honest) but I absolutely love Bukowski so far.

I'm really enjoying this so far. I'm absurdly reminded of Ken Kaneki's reaction to being able to see both sides of the war being waged in Tokyo Ghoul (ghouls vs. Himans). Here, however, Danny is able to see both sides to the struggle to improve working and living conditions (generally, the Law vs. Radicals). Fascinating...

Is there anyone who can help me figure out Wuthering Heights? I've been struggling to understand this novel since it was assigned in one of my English classes last semester. I muddled though a couple papers on it (earning low grades) before talking to my professor. At that time I was working forty plus hours a week on top of school so he gave me an extension to finish my last paper. The deadline is in a couple weeks.

This is King at his best, the writing is wonderful and I haven't been sucked into a story so completely in a long time. It's been hard to put this one down

I'm planning on taking a course on Existential Philosophy in the fall and wanted to introduce myself to the concept beforehand. I've had this book for a while so I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm closely identifying with the concept although that must surely be my age.
Anyway, I got a kick out of this:
"Three o'clock is always too late or too early for anything you want to do."

"Holy strawberries, Batman- we're in a jam." That was the first thing I thought when I picked this book up and I have a weakness for interesting, ridiculous ideas. So I had to buy it , of course...I can't wait to see what this story consists of

I couldn't quite find my edition but this one will do- and I'm feeling too lazy to add one. It's almost 2am here. Anyway, fascinating concept, provides valuable insight into society and the people that make it up. I wonder where Huxley will take this...

I can't believe there's over 500 pages left. It's absolutely fantastic- Nick is my favorite and the Dark Man is fascinating (among a thousand other little details) so I'm definitely not complaining. But whoever thought of the term light reading can think again- I think this book squashed that whole idea.

I've come to the conclusion that King must've been craving McDonalds when he was writing these last so many pages. He's mentioned a Quarter Pounder with fries twice in the last little while now. I hope he got his Mickey D's after finishing his daily quotient (or however he manages his work) because he did a damn good job with the delirium, Captain Trip's and absolutely everything. I'm loving it so far

I'd been meaning to read this one for a while and picked this up just this morning after finishing the Inferno. I'd picked it up and put a down a few times before (mainly because of the length). It certainly pulled me in this time though. It's soo nice to have a couple weekends off this month- I'm actually almost catching up on my reading a little haha

I finally picked this book back up and it pulled me back in. The language is lovely and Dante uses some spectacular images. I just got to the ninth circle with the Giants and Titans...this should be fascinating.

I've been on a "Classics" kick lately. I don't know why but they've been appealing to me...needless to say, I'm enjoying this one immensely. I've been reading it off and on for about a week and I think I just might manage to finish it. I can't count how many books I've picked up and lost interest in in the last few months. Another on my currently reading shelf has fallen into that boat, actually...

This is turning out to be rather good collection so far. I've read Lady Ducayne which was pleasant enough and the Horror at Chilton Castle which was awesome. The language itself was enough to make me remember why I love the horror genre so much...it gave me the shivers.

I've noticed a few spelling and grammar errors, nothing too distracting but I have a tendency to pick out that kinda stuff. I'm still enjoying the writing otherwise.

It's been quite a while since I've picked up a book and felt compelled to stay up and read it. And this one is certainly that kind of book...I've had it on my shelf for a while and I'm starting to think I should've picked it up sooner. Yes, it's that good haha

Is the new format for goodreads throwing anybody else off? I got on today on my phone and it is a lot to adjust to haha. Is there any way I could change it back or to desktop or something?

Man, those last couple chapters really got to me. Hill's portrayal of Vics relationship with her dad struck a chord with me. Damn...

I'd picked this book up a couple times...and then didn't feel compelled to finish. I think I'll be able to this time. It finally pulled me in

Well shit, that was violent...

I had this by my bed and I couldn't help but pick it up. I got two copies of this book when me and the boyfriend went to see King in Louisville...mine wasn't signed but his was. Such an awesome addition to my collection.

When you go to update your status on the book you're currently reading and mix em up...you just might need to go to bed...

This book is awesome. That's bout all I have to say...usually when I pick a book up based off its cover or premise it isn't my best decision but this actually wasn't a bad idea.

It occurred to me while reading this that if Finders Keepers was the first King book I'd ever picked up it would've been my last. I'm not a big fan of Kings mystery series attempt, to say the least.

I wasn't intending to pick this up but I'm planning on seeing King next month for the End of the Watch tour soo this needed to happen, I guess. It's been readable but somethings missing. King is better than this usually...

I picked this up yesterday and started reading a few pages...then couldn't put it down. It's been a while since a book made me do that. Such a nice feeling
