Reading Dinah Jeffries is being taken on a journey to an exotic world where you can feel the hot sun, smell the perfume of flowers and spices and listen to music and voices that are foreign to us. A place of intrigue, mystery and long held family secrets. I’m reading slowly to savor every page.

Ugh, I don’t know what to think. I’m not even sure I like it. I feel like there is a sinister undertone, but the characters are a little weird.

Are you kidding me? What is happening?? I don’t know how McFadden does it!

And THIS is why I love Freida McFadden! What a plot twist!!
