Reading about an Octopus as a main character with a POV wasn’t on my bingo card this year 😅

I needed something light and cozy. I feel like I made the right choice 💕

I was on the phone with family and I couldn’t stop thinking about this book. I love Erik and how intense he is 🤌🏼

This copy has a visual representation of Erik. I’m gagging… I guess I’m into pirates now😮‍💨

I was hesitant at first (I dread endless, pointless bickering), but I’m loving this so far! 😍

Hmm so many triggers warnings with this one: bullying, suicide, depression and child prostitution to name a few. I’m not sure I’m in the mood for this but we’ll see.

I think I like this? The premise feels refreshing; pirate + fae

I’m really confused. This doesn’t match my expectations at all. I was looking forward to reading about a charismatic professor and his exclusive club made of eccentric students. At least that’s what the blurb says but the said professor is more or less absent from the story.

Reading in between work hours and wondering if this will end up being as predictable as I think it will… 🤔

Part 3! The stakes weren’t high at first but now this book is stressing the shiii out of me. It’s books like this that make me question the possibility of getting a heart disease from reading. This better be a happy ending😡…please😭

I think this will be my greatest bookish adventure of the year. Firstly, the length of this thing 🫠 Secondly, people keep warning me about the trauma involved, and I’m not sure whose they mean, the characters’ or mine? 👀
