I’m listening to the audiobook, and the (British) narrator has given the main characters (who are from Idaho) very strong Boston accents (???), but other than that, off to a good start!

I spent the first several pages of this book going “wait, what?” on repeat before deciding to simply go with the fact that weird things would happen without explanation and that sometimes the best way to enjoy such a book is to accept the inexplicable. Using that mindset, I’ve really enjoyed the first portion of this book

I might not be able to watch Project Runway without missing Elaine, but maybe reading her memoir can help fill the gap.

I’m on a nonfiction kick, so I’m finally picking this one up. Very excited to learn more about Ida B. Wells and her pioneering journalism.

Finished Katabasis and immediately picked this up, if that tells you anything

It’s been a while since I was so intrigued by a book’s pretense, and so far it is 110% living up to the hype!

Picked this up for a buddy read with friends. So far, I’m thoroughly enjoying it!

Favorite line of the day: “I have a whole skeleton of bones to pick with you”

I feel like I’m reading an elderly birder’s journal, but I’m not mad about it

So far, I’m really enjoying this book. The author’s style is unique, but still accessible.

I find myself intrigued but also stressed for what’s to come

Me after reading Sunrise on the Reaping and crying repeatedly: I’m never reading a Suzanne Collins book agin
Me five days later: Dang it, I’m back.
