This is definitely a book I wish I was reading for a class or in some sort of group setting. The content is just so well written and interesting that I think it would really benefit from discussion to truly synthesize the material. It’s one of those books you just want to lend to all your friends so you can talk about it with them.

Just realized I’ll never be a mid-to-late-19th-century wild woman with the anonymity or spirit required to galavant across the world finding beautiful, mystical elsewheres,,,,pls refrain from contacting me in this time of mourning 🤧
