I thought the first book in the series was pretty good and overall enjoyable. This so far is much less so, the friends-to-lovers here feels very forced and the tension between them isn’t built up super well.

Seth (DramaKingBooks) is 49% done with Two Left Feet

I like the writing, and love how yearn-forward this book is…but I can’t help but get caught up on the coming out journey. I feel the sports-player-is-Gay-and-feels-like-he-can’t-come-out cliche is overdone and makes this story more about identity than the romance itself. I’m happy to see stories about coming out and wrestling with identity but for a romance I am missing something along the way.
