Quite a cast of characters. I miss the PNW.

Letter correspondence is so rare that this book is fascinating. I remember reading the book Dear Mr. Henshaw in grade school and enjoying it.

For a short book, this one is very dense. I'm moving through it very slowly.

The writing isn't beautiful but the characters make an impression and I think this book is heading toward a 5 star read. Still 3 more chapters to go.

I'm glad that nothing worse happened to Ruthie. Man, what a beautiful cover this book has!

There are no page numbers in this graphic novel so I can only guess my progress. The female lead is too pitiful.

Main character has every right to be angry, but he's annoying at this point.

The art is not appealing to me. I'll check out the anime after I finish this volume.

I don't care for the characters at all. Should've dropped this book, but I wanted to see why this book was rated so high.

Sounded interesting, but I'm having trouble moving forward with the story. Resorting to the audiobook.

- I grew up watching cooking shows, too.
- I'm more interested in the booze recipes than food 🍸

- I thought he was a famous chef, but he's an actor and foodie.
- How cool that he was able to live abroad in Italy for a year with his family!
- Interesting that his family ate lavishly at the beginning of the week and modestly at the week's end. I experience the opposite. Simple meals for the weekdays and elaborate ones on the weekends.

Aw, I like Oliver and Margot. Rooting for them!
