Oh boy. I knew we were doing oversimplification, but when we brush onto Canada I can actually see how much.

Love how she challenges her own judginess because it would disrupt the "truce" and not because honestly it's very asshole-y and unfair.

Unsurprisingly only Fatima apologised....

Well I already had opinions about how little respect she has for Fatima based on how one sided their friendship feels. Fatima fucked up but holy overreaction batman.

Here for Sana saying it cause the lack of self-awareness was bugging me. That said she barely made it a page so does it count?

This feels a bit crow barred into the plot

"She could keep secrets too" yeah we know she's been going behind her daughter's back at any chance she can get since she arrived

Always make deceptive promises to children you have strained relationships with

Look I know you can't blame someone for how they handle their grief, but damn lady stop acting like your husband and son weren't also your daughter's father and brother

Oh good I love when the amateur detective gets offended when someone points out they are an amateur

Sure feels like Kausar cares more about playing detective than she actually cares about her daughter, but sure let's pretend

Ah yes, little miss "I'm not a detective I simply notice things" sure started asking all the questions pretty quickly. Obviously I was aware she was going to get stuck in quickly but this was very quickly

Really getting way more out of the Frank and Maggie as abusive parents plot point than I expected. He sure knows how to keep suckerpunching me with the reality of how dark people can get/be.

Nope you don't get to pull an I hate saying bitch and then still use it. Nope

Ugh and I'm sure he's going to get some character development but this is gross

I hate the way she frames it (but I have hated this from the outset)

Okay why does no one ever have impulse control?

I'm going to choose to read this as anxiety so that I can accept this stupid framing that she should feel guilty about this. She shouldn't.

I am not a fan of supervising adults dancing a kids' dances in romances

I'm a simple woman I will always laugh at this kind of joke

I get that he's still in the grieving process but no. Just fucking no. That whole I could have had everything the same but with two kids makes my skin crawl because not with timeline of his wife's death no he couldn't

Okay that felt weird and out of left field

Probably not the most disgusting description of kissing I've ever read, but definitely top 10.

That was in no way an overreaction to his lies. I really don't like the dynamic here. He's manipulative AF

Little Mr. "I hate liars" lying again

I'm with Ivan on this. The fuck?

Ah yes there we go. Morgan has no impulse control. That was bad. Now I see why everyone who's read this hates her.

Ah yes. They went on a public date, they secretly make out around the school all the time (obviously someone saw them) and yet the issue is Morgan telling discreet friends.

I get that this is clearly supposed to start the misunderstanding part of the plot, but it's just so dumb (the only way to take that statement is badly)
