Slogging my way through this tedious book

I recently visited Ballarat and Bendigo, so I’ve decided to read my copy of this book

I read the Odyssey when I was in my early 20s before I went to Greece for a five week holiday. I’m rereading it before watching the upcoming Christopher Nolan film.

I first read this book in 2013 and now I am reading it again with my enhanced knowledge of 20th century Chinese history

Finally finished this very interesting book! It covers a history of 20th century China up to the death of Mao. The book is a real page Turner as I learnt so much about life in China during those turbulent times.

I was separated from this book for a couple of weeks because I had left it somewhere else and I was able to get it yesterday

I have owned this book for years and never read it so I decided it. It’s time to read it then I can read this author’s book about Mao

Abandoned. I hate the writing style as it is so tedious.
