There's as much growling in Crash and Burn as there is in the werewolf story I'm reading right now.

It's getting better, though I find Nick annoying--for the first time.

I don't want it end on a disappointing note, so I may hold off on finishing this one until I'm in a better mood.

I will write a line or two about each book, soonish. There were definitely some standouts.

I spent too much time reading past comments from someone who went from reviewer to editor-- but back then was very critical of the editing of others. Sometimes criticism is warranted-- I do a lot of that, too. Lately, though, I have read several books this reviwer-turned-editor is credited with editing, and those books had copious technical and content editing errors. Her past comments about editing now apply to her.

Currently reading the last story, Hunting Bear: A Fairy Tale with a Very Hairy Ending by Edmond Manning. Oh, there are some great lines. Lub lub lub this one!

Um, what is an all-exclusive resort? I think I'm missing the joke.

Damn. It's over. Utterly engaging pretty much throughout. Loved it.

Well, that was unexpected.

Everything in this book screams...orgasm, again. Especially the financial talk. I haven't a clue what it all means, but I think I need a closer relationship with a 'money' person of some sort.

Bad editing and repetition aside, this one wasn't as bad as some of the other reviews said. I like Nick and Kelly together, though they are starting to meld into one character, and they don't have the bite they had in previous books. The same could be said for Julian Cross-- he was wasted in this story.

Babe. hehehe.

I'm trying to read this book, but it's rather boring. As some reviewers warned, it reads like a cliched het romance. While I applaud the author's attempt at M/M, this novel is laughably bad example of that sub-genre.

Very amateurish writing and exceedingly bad editing. It's rare I don't finish a book I start reading, but I can't stomach anymore of this one.

The poor editing is very distracting. I hope it improves, but I'm not holding my breath.

I find it particularly annoying that people who don't get BDSM and kink find it necessary to read BDSM/kink-themed books, and then write scathing reviews about them. Ugh!

This one got better and I rather enjoyed it in the end. Still a bit dated, though.

Now we're getting to the good stuff. I actually think I'll recommend this book to a couple of kinky newcomers.

This book has really dated dialogue and poor editing. I don't know that I would say that it's better (or more realistic) than 50 Shades.

I love the characters in this book! And it has the excellent writing I expect from Amy Lane. I'm delaying finishing it--because I don't want it to end! *sniffle*

I liked this paranormal-y, scifi story, even though it reminded me of quite a few other stories and movies with its life force possession plot. I was disappointed that the sex wasn't steamier, which was surprising, given it's insta-lust/love. I was totally digging this read until the last quarter of the book. At that point, it gets too melodramatic. I still recommend this read-- a solid 4.0

Currently reading Dirty Laundry by Heidi Cullinan. I'm tickled this book has the same title as a BDSM scene I've been writing. And I gotta say, this is one fucking hot book!
