Charlie Donlea always crafts great mysteries with multiple twists. This one has a Law & Order “ripped from the headlines” story running through it too which was a bit surprising.

I was underwhelmed with this book. I was hoping for more NASA & less romance.

Interesting premise. If you had chance to know how long you were going to live, would you want to know? How would you change your life? Would you tell your loved ones? Once I started this book I couldn’t put it down.

This book is so well written. I’ve never given thought to how freed slaves located family. This was eye-opening into that challenge & the impacts to a group of high school kids in rural Louisiana a hundred years later.
