Tomas is 50% done with Paper Girls: The Complete Story
About half way through one of the teenage kids in 1988 references “cliff’s notes” which I’ve seen physical copies of but thought was mostly an online thing… turns out it started in 1958, and was pretty successful for a while. Cool!

Tomas is starting Sync: The Emerging Science of Spontaneous Order
I kind of feel like this would’ve been an easier read if there was *more* math in it.

I think some of the tangents ended up sort of irrelevant, though always interesting.

That being said, it touched on a wide array of applied math topics, and most of them were very compelling.

Tomas is starting Breath: The New Science of a Lost Art
Listened to the intro. This guy said his breathing practices can energize the immune system and straighten spines. He also said “by the law of averages you will take 670,000,000 breaths in your lifetime.” Not looking good considering the law of averages isn’t a law. Even if he means the law of large numbers, this isn’t really a logical use... kind of irritated I started this but ima try to power through
