Feeling mostly frustrated w/ this book rn. A review compared it to Finnegans Wake and I think I agree--I'm having a hard time getting meaning out of the poems, and am mostly upset by them. I feel bad for my inability to comprehend this text fully.

trying to get through Lolita again - the prose is beautiful, but it's SO dense. huge swaths of description and detail which seem to serve no purpose. not sure if it's worth slowing through or not.

I am LOVING this book right now. No surprise that the highest rated review is "THIS BOOK IS COMPLETELY WORTHLESS"—reminds me of an article I read recently about people responding negative to literature because they don't 'understand' it. Not to be elitist... anyway. This book is great! Can't wait to finish it. :D
