What a ride. This was such an illuminating journey about the Republican Party starting with Barry Goldwater in the 60’s and ending with Trump. The author describes how the GOP married itself to the evangelicals to create an Uber right wing party. The author weaves together the story seamlessly with no shortage of facts and references to colorful figures. This is truly a must read to learn from history.

Whew! Rover got a whole lotta love until he was trampled underfoot and saw his time of dying. (Sorry.). This tome gave me great respect for the creativity of this band and wonder that they survived as long as they did given their brutal schedules supported by SO MUCH drugs and alcohol. Well written but kinda long. If you lived through the 1970’s and had any inkling of Led Zeppelin, this book will take you back.

The book changes your perception of companies. After reading it, you realize that you can look at companies differently, through the lens provided by the author. Those companies that resist the short term quarterly earnings gains vs those that have a longer term ( infinite) mindset become more apparent.

Great read. Encouraging during these dark days

I just finished Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House and gave it 4 stars. It is illuminating and instructive about how low the republicans have sunk. The age of breitbart. Banning, and Trump is nothing more than an attempt to resurrect the Old World Order, which the world largely abandoned after WWII. But those who don’t learn from history are, sadly, doomed to repeat it.
