My husband really liked the new Perry Mason on HBO, and mentioned the author's name often enough that it finally dawned on me to ask if he wanted to read this. (He doesn't usually read fiction.) So, yay, we're reading it together!

Really liked The Only True History of Lizzie Finn (worth squinting at this tiny print for). Got sidetracked and now am going to go back and restart The Steward of Christendom.

This has been on my Currently Reading shelf for 6 months, but I'm actually liking it. I've taken to treating it like a short story collection so the adventures don't start to seem repetitive. I definitely have to be in the mood for it, and I'm easily distracted by shinier things. 30% into Volume 2.

I have no idea why I'm enjoying this so much... I don't need to know how to survive on Mars. But I do need to get off the internet and go read more of this book Right Now.

I accidentally started with Wild Seed. It's 1st in this book and by internal chronology. I'll set this aside awhile and come back and start Patternmaster.

I've never watched a Dr Who episode, but this is really cute without being too cutesie for me. Narrator is really great, and the beginning says "read by Clare Corbett" even though a different narrator's name is listed.

Taking a break on this while I read some library books that became available all at once.

Halfway done! Only 700 or so pages to go...

I'm putting this on hold so I can read some borrowed books. I'm NOT quitting on it.
