I was complaining about how I’m like halfway into the book and there hasn’t been a single named female character to a friend and he said “well, there weren’t a lot of women involved in the Vietnam war so that wouldn’t be realistic.”

THE BOOK IS ABOUT DINOSAURS LIVING IN 1968.. I think realism has been thrown out the window, but somehow a female character, oh no, not plausible 😭

So glad the author made sure to include the word “comrade” multiple times during each section with the Russians or I might have forgotten they’re Russian 🙂‍↔️
