I’m ready to DNF “A Little Life” by Hanya Yanagihara after 10% (which, for the record, is like 80 pages into the 800+ page book). I like detailed books, but the flow of this prose is hard to follow. I also feel like this is the kind of story that doesn’t have a real plot…

I’m willing to keep giving it a chance but need some encouragement. I don’t usually DNF, but this one is so long. Any advice?!

Time to be shamelessly basic and reread this before the release of Onyx Storm. I kind of hate myself for how much I don’t hate this series.

I thought about making this a DNF. I switched to audiobook and now listen to it at the gym. I’ll eventually finish this book but doubt I continue the series unless something big changes.

I read this one in high school but don’t really remember it well. It’s alleged that the two upcoming Wicked movies will draw from the books beyond the content in the musical, so I’m doing my homework before the movie in a few months.

Damn, this book is right up my alley. I’m already hooked.

This book series is so enjoyable and well written. I’m almost intentionally reading it slowly to just enjoy the ride instead of rushing to get to the end.

Welp, I’m back to work tomorrow! I ended up reading 33 books since I left my job on May 1. 😳 shout out to Goodreads and my Kindle for keeping me entertained this summer.

The first 20% of this book felt like studying for a history test. This is the most dense world building I think I’ve ever read. I’m assuming {hoping} it gets better. Also, why are there so many magical creatures with cell phones? Idk, it’s giving me the ick so far.

This one has been a struggle. :/ Switched to audiobook and hoping that helps me finish it.

I started getting misty eyed on the first page of this book. I’m screwed.
