Reading it after his death makes all he says all the more prescient. It’s a tricky read in some ways because of the desperate difficulty he clearly faced tackling a plethora of addictions - but it’s also got that wit we all remember so fondly from Chandler Bing

Funny start - though does feel a bit hyperbolic at times

Clever and witty already - I suspect I’ll enjoy this

So inventive, really enjoying it so far. A meta take on murder mystery writing which includes the author’s 1st person perspective of a writer taking on a “real life” case with a grizzled detective. Great idea executed well… so far

Riveting. A Roman courtroom drama based on real events, very well written

Up to 20 weeks into pregnancy’s. It’s wisely divided up chronologically. Entertaining as well as informative, I’ve guffawed at least half a dozen time, far more than I’d expected to.

It’s clearly well written, but not in the mood.
