I think I'm going to DNF this book. Dammit, Victoria. I'm so glad I cancelled my preorder for Tempest. She always writes books with nothing happening for the first, like, 80% of the book before it gets good... I shouldn't have to suffer an almost 600-page bore for the series to get good. THE FIRST BOOK SHOULD ALREADY BE GOOD!!!

I’m a quarter into this bullshit and I’m trying to figure out if I even want to continue… what the fuck is going on? Nothing has HAPPENED. I’m so fucking bored.

I'm sorry they want to market this going forward as an adult book? This reads like SUCH a YA trash book. And i'm STILL NOT DONE WITH THE PROLOGUE.
