This very well could be a lovely, beautiful book. The characters are likeable, and there's a cat! But the parent death aspect is hitting me too hard right now.

Y'all. I don't know. The voicing of the hedgehog thing has got me feeling angry. Nothing against the narrator per se, but... It's irritating me.

Reminding myself that this is the last first time I'll read any of these books, so I don't have to finish it IMMEDIATELY. I can take it in chunks and digest it. OR read it straight through. I love this series.
