Well, now I get why this book was so popular. This is SO GOOD.

How can we read anything about the horrors of Nazi Germany and not see it reflected in America 2025?

This is written in a really funny way. Some of the phrasing has made me actually laugh. However, I'm just not getting into the story at all and I don't care about the characters. Maybe it's not for me.

I'm just not FEELING this one right now. It's not bad. It's just... not holding me. Is it me? Am I the problem?

Have I mentioned how much I love Danielle L Jensen lately? This woman can WRITE a story.

Oooof. Received as an ARC. There's nothing WRONG with this book, and I like the premise. But it reads like a high school English paper. I'm struggling, big time. It's just too... clinical? Not enough like a novel. I'm afraid this may be a DNF.

I'm struggling. I think it's been too long since I read the first book. I'm just not pulled into the story this time.
