Audiobook. It's certainly packed full of good information, but I've got beef with the way the author narrates. His pacing is weird, and his volume and speech clarity vascillate wildly. I listen exclusively in my car, and have to constantly adjust the audiobook speed and volume so I can understand it. I don't usually have this problem when books are narrated by professional voice actors. Just saying.

Spending the year reading through the entire bible chronologically, using the plan at blueletterbible.org.
I've attempted to read the bible before, going Genesis to Revelation, but never could stick with it. This plan seems very doable, though. I'm excited!

I'm throwing in the towel. It's not you, it's me. Not exactly boring, but not interesting enough for me to care that I'm leaving it unfinished. No disrespect.

This book lives in my car, so I can only read a handful of pages at a time while I'm waiting for the kids to get out of school, etc.

I'm a wee bit peeved that all info abruptly ends at the Idaho border. (yes, the title, I know) Though the climate here in the outskirts of CdA differs somewhat from Spokane -- the most eastwardly point yet still 35 miles west of me-- I think I can extract enough useful info to make it worthwhile, so I'll press on.

My 12 year old got this in a local little free library. She got about halfway through, and gave up because she was "reading too many sad books at once", and it was affecting her mood. I'll give it a shot.
