This got started a little slowly, but I really ended up liking it. On to the next one in the series

I’m about 1/2 ay through and while this book started off really interesting, I’m getting bored and bogged down in the intricacies of the ongoing investigation.

Very insightful thus far. However, being that I am not in this field, I am a little slow on connecting the theoretical to practical examples.

So far several of the essays have been very insightful while a few have been clearly written only for those in the academic world addressing specialized areas.

I was given this book and was not sure I would like it as I'm not a huge fan of "church growth" books. But this book has been a pleasant surprise - filled with biblical insight.

Good so far. Beautifully written.

The relational piece is sneaking back in and is making this book far better than book 4.

Im not on board with his conclusion yet. Not enough biblical support.

So good. Takes time to read because it is necessary to read the Biblical accounts along with him.m

First section seems like filler for the real book that is in section 2. 80 pages of wasted time.m

Have run into incredible parts that I cant stop reading, and sections that put me to sleep. Gonna take a break for a bit...
