The scene's in my book that I don't like all come from what the father is saying and/or doing. Especially, the specific times where he is expressing his opinion at the wrong times. Or, when his children didn't understand yet that their father should not be saying these things about other people or anything in general. His fathering ways are so wrong, the children think that what he does it acceptable.

Jeannette's parents are the main cause of her conflicts in life. Since her parents aren't necessarily the best, Jeannette has to deal with a lot of problems on her own. For instance, Lori, who is Jeannette's sister, did not have the best eye sight, only until Lori was 10 years old. Lori never knew glasses helped her see better, and Lori never knew her eyes didn't work as well as other people's.

The supporting characters, Lori and Brian, who are Jeannette's siblings play a big role in Jeannette's decisions. For example, when Jeannette was about to get into a fight with girls from her school, Brian and Jeannette came up with a plan so that they wouldn't get hurt that much, and then the girls wouldn't come back to pick on Jeannette.

So far in my book, I haven't got to see who is the Catalyst or the Dynamic characters, but I am getting clues toward who they could be. Since this is a diary no main, characters could maybe change about something. But I think the Germans, would change knowing that what they are doing is wrong, and that the Catalyst would be the Jewish.

This book sort-of relates to my current history. I normally read what other people have read, so I tend to lean more towards the "popular" books. Though, I am not fond of those. I have now started reading this book and I have read a few other books about this time-frame. The Holocaust, and the 1940's time period. I really enjoy learning about subjects while I read, then I knew that this book would be a good fit.

If I were to be eating a cookie while reading this book, the cookie would have to be a big mixture of ingredients. This is because A is always changing bodies, and when I were to be eating the cookie, every bite would need to be a different ingredient. Just like everyday is a new person for A.

I think my book would be rated PG-13 if it were to be turned into a movie. I think it would be rated this because it's about two teenagers falling in love, and one switches bodies everyday. So, I think this would fit what teens like to watch now.

Well in the Hunger Games there is a lot of killing, and quick thinking, and also staying the same person. If A were to go into the Hunger Games as one person and survive more than one day, the next day he would be a new person, probably not competing in the Hunger Games.

"It is the peculiar nature of the world to go on spinning to matter what sort of heartbreak is happening." I really like this quote because I think of it as that the world doesn't revolve around you, and no matter what struggles you are going through in your life, you don't need to spread pain into other people's lives. Everyone will keep on fighting and you need to also, and fight your own war like everyone else

If my author used a different style of writing and different vocabulary I think it would make the book way worse. I think this because the whole tone of the book is set in the 1960's, in South Carolina so they have lots of slang words they use.

I would choose August to be on an island with me for many reasons. I feel that August is very smart and can handle lots of situations very well.

Even though my group is not all at the same place, we are still managing to come up with something to talk about. Today, we decided to talk about May committing suicide. A tragic time for all. One question that came up was, "What made May commit suicide" I think what made May commit suicide was holding back her feeling towards April's death. Finally, she couldn't hold her self back anymore so she commit suicide.

I definitely know that T. Ray is going to die alone, and no one will really care. Though I know deep in Lily's heart, she will be quite upset if T. Ray died. Even when Lily was on the phone with T. Ray, she was very emotional. I think that Lily doesn't want to show that she will be very upset when T. Ray dies. Though Rosaleen and Lily will both be upset if T. Ray has died.

One major thing Lily wants to achieve is to find her mother. No matter what anyone tells her, Lily is going to find her mother no matter what. Even Rosaleen, says Lily's mother is no where to be found. But Lily is with Rosaleen, with other people. May, June and August. Lily is trying to find her mother, and currently staying at the Calendar Sisters house, Lily makes up lies to try to find her mom without being caught

I would be apart of the Calendar Sisters, I would very much want to be April, but the alive version of April. I would be happy with the rest of the family, make May happy, knowing that I'm back, and I really didn't commit suicide like April did. The sisters and I would have so much fun, making honey and all. Especially when Rosaleen and Lily came to visit and stay. We would gladly accept them to our little family.

I really enjoy how the author changes up each poem. Wayland will put poems in about the main character's life. Then, she goes into the girl's English class and shows a poem from there. This really inspires me because everything she goes into English class, there is a new type of poem. I enjoy learning new poems and I feel that this book has helped me so much with writing my own poems.

The style of my book is by far Poetry because that is how it is written. Also, it is told in First Person by the main character who has never revealed her name. I think the author is very good at putting in different types of Poetry in her poems to give them a new feeling-and not all dragging on the same way. I really like how April Wayland puts illustrations in the background to get the feeling of the poem more.

My book is most certainly a book that makes you think. I really do believe that all poetry is like this, (not the childish poetry) because of how it is written. It is written to not exactly tell you what the poem's about, or meaning, but it makes you think about what it could really mean. After every poem I read, I go over it and make sure that I really understand what it is meaning and talking about.

I put a grin on my face as I read the introduction to this book,
"... I hope your flesh creeps and your skin crawls and the blood turns to ice in your veins."
Reminds me deeply of Stephen King, but in a different way. In a more wiser way. Taking things seriously, not just trying to keep you up at night like Stephen King does.

My book doesn't really have a setting, it's just James Franco talking about his life, in poetry form. If the setting was taken out of the book it would make no difference, because there is no real setting.

To me, I consider Lara the attention-seeker. Being Angel's cousin, Lara always wants to be better than Angel. Quite frankly, Angel really does't care. Which drives Lara to be more of the attention-seeker. Angel is plain, and simple. Though she's writing beautiful poetry.

I feel that Lara has a special connection with Angel. Lara the dancer and Angel the poet, they both share special connections with their family. Like Angel sharing her poems in front of her family, and Lara having her family come to her dance recitals and competitions. Though one thing's different, Lara knew right away that she had a drive to be a dancer, but Angel, not so much.
