Boy, you can really tell that some of these guest artists felt a certain way towards Leetah. In other news, Tyleet is great and can do no wrong.

In all seriousness, I feel like I'm reading one of those old sci-fi serials they used to play on late-night tv. I just want to curl up under a blanket and see what this universe has in store.

Hell if I know the backstory for this, MEL hasn't managed to send me the first one yet and it's been three weeks. So I'll be reading the second volume... first.

You can either look at Kamui as a complete ass, or as an extremely socially awkward teenager. One is definitely funnier than the other, and some of these panel choices are in favor of the latter.

Reading this again after sadly leaving it unfinished years ago. Yoshinaga's art style has definitely improved since Antique Bakery, but her love of food remains! Can't wait to hang with these two dorks!

Oh, Seishirou, I knew you were going to be evil, but you were so damn likable that you still blindsided me. The only consolation is that I know both you and Subaru live until X/1999, so this book can't end that badly.
Yeah, but don't kill off Hokuto, CLAMP, I'm finally starting to like her, and I don't know if she shows up in the sequel series.

I'm beginning to think that this author really likes food. This is the second series I've read by Yoshinaga, and both have contained mind-numbing descriptions of recipes and dishes.

Is this what Hokuto does in her spare time? Rescue damsels in distress with her never-before-seen magical powers? Good, I'm glad she has a hobby.
But also, if Hokuto has these powers, why the hell has her brother been doing all the work? And why hasn't Hokuto bothered to help when Subaru was obviously in danger? I really hope there's an answer for this.
