Yep, still hate Minya. So much.

Super curious as to how this is all going to tie together, and also if Thyon is going to have a character growth of sorts...I really hope so, all I had to say about him last book was "douche bag"

I know I'm supposed to, but I really hate Taryn right now...and I feel so close to Strange, purely because of his love of words and stories and books.

I thought I couldn't hate anyone more than Henry...I was wrong. Patrick...holy shit Patrick is a terrible human being.

So good! I can't with the intensity between Locke and Roar...I want them to just be happy and her to learn everything. I want to learn more about the magics and what is going on with the lies...is it on purpose or is the mother oblivious of the truth?

The crew thst Locke runs with seems interesting. I kind of hope Aurora runs off with them to discover herself and her magic

Things are picking up now, the family is back in town now, and finding out the truth. It's been fun flash backing into the past, seeing the truth of the past and how the kids got together, but now I'm curious to what's going to happen and what more they can find.

Holy shit...some of the things these poor kids are seeing...and managing just just laugh it off and keep on trucking...is astonishing.

Oooh the plot thickens!

Well that was an interesting turn of events. I'm more distrustful of Cassius, curious of Rora and intrigued by this new face.

My mistrust in Cassius is founded it seems. Rora's nativity is startling and I wonder how quickly she'll grow up for all the wrong reasons. I do hope she finds a way to control something more powerful than she has ever dreamed of before.

I am loving the imagery that Cora Carmack brings to this story. I can vividly see the world and understand the basics of the situation without being overburdened with information.

I'm not aure how I feel about Cassius yet, though I feel sorry for Rora despite not seeing her full personality yet. I hope we get to explore her full character soon.

Starting to get to some of the more interesting parts that explains who "IT" is, and what's going on in the past. King is decent at keeping you in supsense and figuring out but not quite there with what's going on or what's going to happen.

There are so many different perspectives and it's insane how dark so many kids stories are. One thing I am impressed with Stephen King is his ability ot add individual characters stories without ruining the story for you. For example, when the bully is asking to cheat on the test of the big kid he makes fun of, the bigger kid is just thinking of his freedom, the bully is thinking of how much he's going to get beat.

One thing I'm not a huge fan of from Stephen King's older works are the racism and slurs, but I know it's an older book and written in a time that it was acceptable. Still rubbing me the wrong way though when I hear it.

Picking up now, started off really slow.

Not sure what I think so far. Kind of annoying to listen to the romantic-y story right now. May not be my cup of tea...though I heard a lot of good things about it. I'm not huge into romance though.
