Oh my god, I love Andrea.

My husband loved this series so he's making me read it. Lol. Space marines are not my normal sort of thing! But this is really good. The alien races are crazy detailed and I love that Torin Kerr is a cross between a badass and a team mom. It's not a dynamic you see too often and I am digging it.

This audiobook got 800x better with Karl in it. Oh Karl Marsten, you sexy beast.

Switched to audio book. And goddamn, this narrator is sucking the life out of me. Gah.

Loving this so much!! Rhys is such a caveman. :)

Mina and the Iron Duke just went to the Blacksmith's office. Enjoying the read, but I will say that the reader is so very British that at times it confounds my VERY southern ears. She speaks pretty fast and sometimes I miss a word or two.

Really enjoying the hell out of the audio version. It's like the book is all new. :)

Omg. The audio of this book...with the sexy scottish accent. O.O It is so very DIRTY. It's like he is reading naughty things just to me.

I'm just approximating page count, since I'm listening to the audiobook. So far I really like the characters but it's a slow build. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. I have faith in Armstrong, though!

I bought the audio book!!! And um...so far I really dislike the accent of Nikolai. And the fact that the female narrator does the male convo in her chapters, and vice versa. The male narrator is especially painful when he's trying to be flirty Myst. o.O

So I'm guesstimating how far in I am. I'm listening to the audio. It's...all right. I'm enjoying the book but the audio feels like it's trying too hard and it feels a little over-acted. I kind of hate that they brought in a separate voice actor for the guy voices. It throws me off every time he speaks!

Really enjoying this! I'm kind of a fan of Derek - he reads like Clay Jr.

Reading this one because I still think of the other one really fondly! So far the text is crisp and error-free (yay!) and while some of the tropes in this one (nerdy guy, biker chick) aren't my favorite, it remains unputdownable. Really enjoying so far.

Listened to the first CD. This book really starts out with a bang! I'm hooked, and the audio is fabulous.

Reading this on paper. The audiobook is...not great. I can hear the narrator's voice in my head though...does that count?

About halfway through this one, and other than the one dude that is a necromancer, there's really not a lot of paranormal in this one? It's GOOD, but I'm just surprised.

Er, not that her being Indo-American has anything to do with the way she sounds. But I always pictured Hope as sounding young and peppy and not...old.

I tried the audiobook for this one, but it was TERRIBLE. Hope is a twenty-something Indo-American and the narrator sounded like a 50-something chainsmoker. It was not good. Bought the book instead and will read on my kindle.

Listening to the audiobook. It's read by my beloved Jen Taylor. WOO!

Started the audio book - read the paper book about 5 years ago I think (and loved it!) so am giving a re-read in audio. Not Jen Taylor narrating, though. Haz a sad.

The heroine is great, but not sure if I'm feeling the hero...

Kind of reminds me a lot of old school Skye O'Malley/Bertrice Small stuff. Great authorial voice so far.
