Sort of Trainspotting by way of Transmetropolitan. I can have a dicey relationship with drug stories, but so far I'm enjoying this a lot.

One of the things that’s really striking is how much Clinton emphasises positive female relationships. She doesn’t just talk the talk on feminism and empowerment; she surrounds herself with teams of highly competent women, whom she truly values. It’s thrilling to listen to a whole chapter of campaign trail inside info and realise every strategist and team member Clinton mentions is a woman!

Buying the audiobook (that Clinton reads herself) was definitely the correct choice.

So… apparently this opens with a rape scene. That, I did not know in advance, and really wish I had…

I'm enjoying this quite a lot, plot-wise, but I can't shake the feeling it needed a bit of a harder line-/copy-edit...

Arbitrary thing to comment on, but: I really like the typeface in this book.

The emphasis here on "going without pain" is legit making me cry…

I am… really, really enjoying this. It's hitting all my id-spots for creepy atmosphere, ontological mystery, and unreliable narrator.
