While Hrathen and Raoden look different enough to make a physical read easy, listening to the names Ray-then and Ray-den in an audiobook is beyond confusing. The story is compelling but the narrator is meh.

God, I hate the covers for these books. Who picks out the models? They suck.
Anyway... I'm loving the storylines in this one so far. Although I got really mad when it started with V and Jane fighting again. I don't like them together. And V shouldn't feel guilty for liking BDSM. If Jane can't give him what he needs, then she shouldn't be mad when he looks for it elsewhere.

I'm about 35 pages from the end of this book. I just needed to say that this is amazing. The writing style is perfect for the setting and POV. I will definitely be continuing with this series.

I'm totally invested in this story. The characters are wonderful and I can't wait to find out more.
I seriously want to edit. (Please let me? I will make it sooo pretty!) But this is a quality story.

I'm really liking this story. I've already laughed out loud at a part. There are some things I don't like but they are more story pet peeves and not something that another person will necessarily care about.

I'm liking the premise of the book and the two main characters are hot. There are a couple of side characters I don't really like, though. :-/

This is a great story that is almost completely overwhelmed by random commas tossed into sentences at the most insane points. I've been pulled out of truly poignant scenes by trying to figure out what the author was attempting to say. Total mood destroyer. Still, this is a wonderful story so far.

this is a pretty good story so far. Be prepared for character names to switch. And for a grown cis male to be amazed at what a penis feels like in his hand, because he's never held one before....

You know those stupid sit-coms with the laugh track? And at the end of each episode, there is some goofy joke that isn't really funny and then all the characters laugh and all the problems they have faced for the last 30 minutes are swept away in a feel-good ending with a laugh track over the top? That's the way these books end now. The one with Lassiter stuck in the chimney and now this one... meh.

In this sex scene, Layla has a flashback to tell the story of her entire life history, and now Xcor, after just entering her, leans on an elbow and chats a bit about his life and how hard things were for him... WTF?

oh my god! I am loving this. All the badass is back. But Ms Ward, old buddy, old pal, would it hurt to use a few question marks?

I find myself focusing on the editing problems instead of the story... blah. I hope it gets better.

So far, I feel confused on the storyline. Like I'm watching a movie where the sound goes out at times and I'm left trying to lip read. I almost put this down as a DNF last night but my love for this author is going to keep me going for another night. I want to love this!

They are just words. How does Eric make them dance for him? Just 10% in and I feel such awe.

So... the author makes the point of mentioning that not everyone into BDSM is fucked up. And then seriously says in all other ways that anyone into BDSM is fucked up. And that once you find your true love (just like she did with V) you just don't really need that shit anymore.
She also makes it seem that being bi is cured when you find your hetero life mate.
BUT! interesting stuff with Rhage, Mary, and Bitty.

Now this is what I'm talking about. Loving it!

Since I rarely do more than skim blurbs, it won't surprise many that this is not what I expected. lol! But SO GOOD!

This is another wonderful adventure. Usually by this point in a series with books so large, I am ready to stop reading but this just gets better and better.

I can't tell you how much I have been enjoying this, although this is slow going for me. But I must admit I came to a disappointing part last night. I guess being gay is worse than being a rapist and general asshole, though.
