Why on earth did she call the rain in a library?!?!?? Silly girl. But ok….now we’re getting somewhere.

This just feels like it’s dragging. Like the editor needed to have a firmer hand and it’s just endless sultry looks and the same conversation over and over. Then - all of a sudden - plot magically appears for a few minutes. Then back to the same scene again and again.

I’m sticking with it so far only because I’ve been told the next books are awesome.

I really feel like Armentrout needs a stronger editor. She has a tendency to be really long winded and repetitive to the point where I start to get bored. Get the plot going already!

There are parts of this that are super interesting and keep me totally entertained. And then there are parts that just drag out way too long. The pacing seems really uneven.
Still enjoying the characters and plot but during the slower parts it is hard to stay dialed in.

Took awhile to get into the characters but this is shaping up nicely.
