This honestly might end up on the 'did not finish' pile. The choppy style is not my thing and I don't feel any connection with the characters whatsoever. Quite surprised, because people rave about Zadie Smith.

I finished part I just in time before seeing the movie. And I mean just, as I only had 20 minutes to spare to eat dinner and jump on my bicycle to the cinema. The movie was CAPITAL by the way. I'm a little sad I didn't finish the second part in time, as I started this novel in October or so. I just couldn't get into it at first, as it's a little slow and, dare I say it, boring. But now I'm excited to read on!

He's controlling, abusive and a stalker but that's okay, he's hot. I have hard time empathising with the protagonist because frankly she's an idiot.
