I hope I enjoy this more than I did the first

Ahhhhh I see why everyone got that dream.

So far I don't feel much for the characters which is why is probably taking me so long to read.

I can't believe this happened.

Theres a lot of world building in this book, which honestly makes sense but I want more plot. I'm also liking some of the characters so that's a plus. Not sure how I'd rate it but it's too early to make up my mind for now.

I think it's reading a little slow for me. But I think I'm liking some of the characters.

I've been wanting to read this series for a while. I'm happy I get to do so.

I'm really liking this book. I'm so intrigued by how this will all work out since she can't speak.

So excited to start this series!

I still don't know how they came to the conclusion of something that happened. Like it seemed like a far reach in my opinion. I'm enjoying this so far though!

I'm still working on trying to feel empathy for these characters but as of right now I feel nothing. I don't understand the war between the Republic and the colonies. I don't understand how anyone else but Day could've been the one to kill Metias.

Reading for my school's book club. I'm excited to see what the fuss has been about as this is my first time reading this book.

I knew this couple would debut sometime

To be honest I really don't care much for the flashbacks. I have to stop myself from skimming them.

I really hope I enjoy this book. It feels like forever ago I enjoyed reading

I'm probably just stupid. The writing in this book is hard for me to understand. I want to say that it's lyrical but I can't say I even know what that means.

I don't know why it's hard for me to understand the writing. It's probably a first time kind of thing but it's throwing me off a bit

AAAAAH IM SO EXCITED TO FINALLY READ THIS BOOK!

Didn't we already establish that this guy betrayed them because he didn't relay Adams message to Sarah?

It feels like everything would just be better if everyone just told the truth. It's frustrating and hard to see what the kids are going through and I don't understand why it's too much to just tell the truth.

She couldve said that she was being bullied. Why did she keep her mouth shut about it?

Why does everyone keep saying the r word? Shows how dated this book is.

Am I getting annoyed for Dani? Yes. Am I getting annoyed at Claire? Yes. Why is she bringing up this cute guy if she has a boyfriend?

Okay I've stuck it out for as long as I could've. I'm so bored. Reading this, it feels like I can't understand what is going on and it's taking too long for something interesting to happen. I'm going to have to DNF. Unfortunate. Truly and dearly unfortunate I didn't want to have to do this.

I like the writing style. I find it easy to read and follow, but I'm finding the beginning to drag a little. Karou is so mysterious and I'm interested to see what she has to show me.

Since my boyfriend refuses to read today, I'll be starting Queen of Shadows tomorrow so I'll read this book today.

FINALLY STARTING SIX OF CROWS!!! I can't wait to join everyone else in this fandom!!! I hope at least.

I'm finding that I'm enjoying this more than shadow and bone. I'm also loving Sturmhund as a character. Hoping he lives through this war they're planning.
