Percy is a character that isn't very selfish, as when he sees Frank with gorgon's blood, he thinks automatically that Frank tried to save it for him, but says to save it for someone who needs it more than he does. In the story it says "If we could figure out wich vial was which, it might heal your memory ... you should hang on to those vials for now. There's a battle coming and we may need them to save lives." In the end, Sebastian really isn't the bad guy.The angel from the first trilogy was drunken with power and Sebastian's vision is better than the world they are in. Although destroying the world may seem evil, he wants to recreate the world and reshape it so that the world is perfect. No more crimes, no more pain, no more fights. A peaceful world, and this is a vision won't work in the current world,Clary can't see it

In the story, I think that dustfinger has a longing for his old world and I can understand why he did some of his actions. His only motive was to go back to his world, as shown by his betrayal of "silvertongue" or more commonly, Mo. He was promised to be sent back, and was betrayed. Later on, they found the book's author and he wanted the book again, but they didn't find it, so he left. His only drive is homesickness

I think that in the story, Sebastian and Jace have both changed. They don't seem the same and have completely different personalities. In the story it says "I need to get my cool jacket... Come on Sebastian, alright you'll regret it though."(35) They would have never been so open before

Overall, I think a character that changed a lot was Frank. He changed on the inside and outside, he doesn't rely on others for leadership anymore because of an event that happened. The text says " His expression changed, he wasn't the baby-face Frank anymore." This shows that even the babyish face couldn't shake the fact that he had become toughened. After the change, he controlled a legion of ghost warriors.

In the story, Jace shows compassion towards Clary through his words. In the text he says "I have to turn myself in- and the Cup, too"(76%) This shows that he would rather sacrifice himself, rather than have Clary live a fake life with the other Jace. He also shows despise for the other Jace and doesn't want Clary to stay with the other Jace, even if he risks inprisonment or even death.

I think that Leo's encounter with Calypso has changed him very much because of the way he's been acting. Instead of being very hyper, he seemed a lot more moody. According to the story"He wasn't tapping on the table and didn't jump when he saw the ship, he was sitting drinking coffee"(453). Normally, Leo's reaction would've been to act out or do something to get their attention. This shows how unusual he is acting.

Kenneth Wu is 97% done with Simon Bloom: The Order of Chaos (Simon Bloom, #3)
Simon has changed from the first book to the last book. He isn't the shy kid anymore. He acts as a leader. An example would be when he is in a battle between the robots and everyone turns to him for advice. The story says " Everyone in the group... turned to Simon..."(84)This shows that Simon does not only think he is a leader, all the others look up to him as a leader.

I think that from the text so far, Sirabetta isn't really that bad. She got exiled for unknown reasons, however, the things that Simon berates her for, are the same thing he does. The text says "You just tortured him. That's not exactly good manners, is it, Bloom?"(35%) After giving some thought, Sirabetta does have a point, torture is a way of getting information and isn't much better than her "crimes".

I can see that Leo is very creative, he manages to think of a very innovative and new plan. "He rolled up the sleeves of his shirt...grease back his hair...he had Hazel draw a tattoo on his biceps saying:Hot Stuff..."(93)This was all a plan to get materials and to formulate a distraction so Hazel could get the materials.

From the text I have read so far, I can safely say that Annabeth is very courageous. This is shown when the text says "...Annabeth must face the guardian of the shrine by herself. It is the only way...I need to do this alone." This shows that she knows who will be there, but chooses to be alone.

I think that Octavian is a very dangerous enemy. This is shown when Octavian twists his words carefully to have a backdoor to run to when he is disproven. He can also rally the troops of Camp Jupiter and rile them up. He does this so he can beat Percy and Jason.

After giving some thought on Reyna, I have concluded that she is very careful. Even after Percy convinced her that he was a true warrior of Rome, she still had doubt in her words. She also sees how Octavian can twist words and use them to go against her, so she chooses her words carefully. I think this may be because of the fact that Percy destroyed one of her early refuges, Circe's island.

Starting on page 16, Lia starts listing the messages Cassie sent right before she died. A lot of the messages that she purposefully ignored made Lia seem like someone who is torturing a person on purpose. You can see that Cassie is on the verge of crying and Lia is knowingly ignoring her. She feels guilty after Cassie dies, which just shows that people don't acknowledge something until it's gone.

In the chapters where Eragon was trying to go to the Rock of Kuthian, the secrets and memories were amazing. I would've never thought they hid a ton of eldunari in a cave. I think it would've been hard to hide a huge cave from an omni-powerful king. I also can't believe that they were responsible for a lot of Eragon's decisions and helped him out.

On page 147, Roran thinks up an ingenious plan.He improvises very well. He saw a ton of men coming out of the castle so to try to lewad them away, he had to have a distraction. He asked for the wizard to create shimmering in the top so the other wizard would try to break an illusion that wasn't there. This caused the enemy wizard to pass out trying to break it, and it saved the wounded men in the camp.

On page 94, I found out that Arya is very analytic. She knew that Eragon liked her, so to win the spar, she smiled at him so Eragon would be distracted. This is good for Arya because she's not letting any sort of weakness pass by her. This can prove to be usefull in war.
