I don’t think you understand how refreshing it is to read a book that doesn’t feel like brainrot (no offense to the books I’ve read recently, this one just hits different)

Again - this is the sequel to a book I read two years ago, so it's a total struggle bus trying to remember what happened. During that time, I binged so many Asian-inspired fantasies. I used to remember each one pretty well, but alas, two years has blended them together. It also doesn't help (or maybe it does) that some of the names and characters were in the other Elizabeth Lim duology I just finished reading.

I think I started reading this either yesterday or Saturday, just a note to myself once I finish and can update the read dates.

Making good progress!

Slowly but surely getting there! I have a feeling the work week may impede my progress…
