I like how Chapter 36 skipped over to the future in a scene of where Pi is a happy father, and the author saying that this story has a happy ending: Then, immediately as Chapter 37 starts, “The ship sank.” Ahaha! <3. I loved that.

This book is helping a lot to explain what is possible to do with HTML and many examples of it. CSS is next.

Well, I didn’t expect Darrow to be turned into a Gold. And I didn’t expect a Gold to be so physically powerful do to body mods and such. Now I get what “Red Rising” means; a Red being at the bottom of the caste system, has risen to become the top of the caste, a Gold. I mean, he still has to pass the Institute before he can take a powerful place in society, hence the “rising”.

Come to think of it, this whole concept of unground digging and there being a vast surface world reminds me of the anime series Gurren Lagann a bit.

Story is a bit predictable. I did not expect them to fake Darro’s death though. I liked that AND that they sped the hanging process a whole lot after he buried Eo.

Well, it is happening, the catalyst that will make the main character lose their shit. Eo showed him the surface and that the atmosphere is already up and running and that all the Reds are lied to and are enslaved. Eo is going to die.

Very sad times, but I’m glad that it is not dragging out and things are speeding up after the Laurel got unfairly rewarded to Gamma.

So shit has gotten really complicated. Apparently the leader of Orion is with the undead dude named Leslie, who happens to be the master of Hiyo, owner of the Forbidden Tower, and Leslie Camp. And now the Orion guy is after Merry. Shuhiro gets kidnapped, probably by the king. The new king wants to make an alliance with the goblins and it seems like the gang will be forced to make that happen. Fuck that!

Turns out Barbara knew about the new Volunteer Soldiers outpost/hideout before she died and told Hurohiro all about it since she wants him to keep it secret and become a Thief mentor along with Eliza. I think that is why at the end of volume 15, Yume and Ranta were attacking the Iron Fortress since the Wonder Hole was too dangerous to stay at, with a new race emerging from the portals there. Pretty awesome.

Haruhiro not having his memories definitely makes things A LOT more difficult, but at least Merry is around. Barbara, Haruhiro’s Thief teacher, is totally awesome ahaha.

I’m really liking this, can’t stop reading. I love that the gang is checking out every human outpost in the frontier to no avail and they are setting up camps and trying to survive.

I like that there’s the mainland now to worry about and taking back Alterna with the Expeditionary Force of 1000 soldiers from Arabakia or something. Tooooooo awesome, I don’t know what to expect, but I hope for the best.

So apparently the gang arrived WAY after Yume and Ranta did in Alterna. Now I am uncertain how long it was after the invasion of Alterna. Hopefully Ranta and Yume are alright, they probably teamed up with Renji’s squad to escape and survive.

Also, I am wondering who Hiyo’s master is, and whatever the case I am sure that he and her are bad. Also, where the heck is Alice?

This is getting interesting. Now I am wondering what the heck is Hiyo testing them about.

I mean, the Lamdas not getting the Laurel was almost predictable. They built it up too much and the world already strikes me as corrupt and cruel. This story almost reminds me of hunger games, since the workers are watched over by soldiers and tv only plays propaganda. That terrorist organization, Area something, is no doubt the good guys but are made to look like they kill Reds.

Starting off kind of interesting, but annoying. It seems like the main gang’s memories were wiped and I dunno what the heck happened to Alice. It seems like Hiyo, the happy lady that guided Huro and others from the time they woke up in Grimgar in the very beginning, is testing them with this escape-the-dungeon scenario. Merry’s memories stayed and she is helping everyone regain theirs.

They freaking use A LOT of made-up terminology and introduce a lot of tech on how things work underground Mars.

Things are already setting up to hurt his wife, Eo.

Also, I already know that the whole idea of the Reds mining Hydrogen 3 to hell establish live able atmosphere on Mars is just propaganda. They already hav done that and the Reds are just being fooled into providing raw materials for the people abov

So the main character is a Helldiver, basically the person in the front who makes the initial route for the other crew to follow and mine around the walls of. He’s 16-years-old, married, barely surviving. They got to do what they can to get by. There are also mining clans apparently that compete with one another, for the Laurel. The Gamma clan keeps winning it and thus getting a lot of food and such.

I liked Yume’s story and how she became a Kung-fu badass that she even surprised herself when she was fighting against the orc, undead, and Forman invasion.

I’m glad that Ranta came to her rescue, because I still do not know where the hell the other members of the gang ended up after they exited Parano.

I am excited to see what will happen to Alterna now that it is getting massively attacked.

Really like reading about Merry’s point of view and how she ended up with the gang. It was really sad and interesting how she managed to survive on her own with such trauma. I also find it interesting that Merry knew a lot about Leslie Camp being a trap, and yet she did not say anything to the gang back in Volume 14, before they got trapped in Parano. 🤷‍♂️ maybe she tried who knows.

I didn’t think that I’d ever like Ranta, but it seems he actually developed some praise worthy morals and character. He protected the Grey Elf, cared for the half-orc, and stopped picking fights with people. Seems like he is pretty adaptable and strong. He can survive on his own. I am wondering if he’ll be able to rejoin with the gang soon. I think that’ll be wonder. Also we learned that Leslie is bad.

So Ranta has been wandering around for three years after parting with the gang!? So that means that the gang was Parano for three years before escaping it? That is pretty fun.

Now got to read about Shihou and Yuen’s story of how they trained to be a mage and a hunter. Pretty interesting and it’s kind of curious the effort they had to put in to gain skills from their masters. Also Ranta seemed to have changed to a much more stronger, kinder, and capable person instead of an annoying dick.

Interesting to see the story from Manato’s perspective. Before I was saying shit about how the author needs to get back to the main story already and stop with this goblin perspective crap, but I can see the awesomeness in it because it takes me back to how they all got started and what made me fall in love with the story in the first place.

His whole goblin Hirohuro and human is getting silly and I would like to know the point of it.

I’m not sure what is going on with this whole Goblin perspective story, but I’m not really liking it. There better be a great reason for it!

I put the review on the wrong book 😆. Anyway, fuck them becoming goblins, this whole Level 14 volume needs to be seriously skipped.

This is stupid, now they’ve turned into goblins!? Can we just skip “level 14” all together and get back to the main story?

I mean, it is great to understand more of the world of Grimgar from different perspectives, but what’s the fuck, this story is just going awry.

Pretty cool that Huro is getting the hang of this Parano world. Sucks about Ito Nui, Alice’s friend who loved Alice, dying. However, even though Huro’a Resonance ability brought back Nui from being a mindless trickster, it did kill her. Now, I’m hoping that Shiro could be brought back too, and not killed.

Also, it is exciting to learn that Alice wants out of Parano now that Nui is dead.
