Hmmf, not nearly as enjoyable as book one. All I have been waiting for is the big step brother/boyfriend reveal, and it happened so many pages ago but, like no one in book actually cares? WTH? I feel like I’m missing something vital here…

This writing is trance inducing

Listening to this on audible exclusively so I can’t tell exactly what page I am on (sucks). But at chapter 19 I believe I am right around halfway.

Why is this book SO DIFFICULT? I absolutely loved Bride and was so excited for this one. But Serena is NOT Misery. And IDK this whole storyline feels tedious when you know without a doubt there’s an HEA…

I think I am pausing for now 😔
