The switch between characters and telling the story backward was hard to follow. There were a lot of questions for me at the end- what happened to Beth? How about Izzy and Parker? Did Hugh understand? Did Bex and Louie make it? Speaking of Louie...I love Louie!!!

I wanted to love the book, but the only character I really cared about was Cornelia. Benita and Ken did nothing for me. I also was not expecting it to be so Christian/Bible based. It was too much and really turned me off. I could not finish it. I found that I did not care enough to endure Benita's story to find out Cornelia's.

Sy and I have to put this one on the shelf...too close to home.
