This book started out as a time filler on my Kindle App. I generally don't read a lot on the app as I really enjoy "old fashioned" paper books ;) but it got so interesting that I had to run out and buy the copy. I'm glad there is a second because I am becoming quite attached to these poor children. Must keep reading...must keep reading....

I love how we first met Cress in Cinder but didn't know it was her! It's so cool and seamless how M. Meyer loops in the fables and fairy tales to her SciFi novels. She's definitely one of my favorite authors.

Ok I had to stop. I don't know if I will continue this book this or not. To begin with it is out of my realm of thinking but the constant references to "bad guys" has me a bit on the fence. I am reminded of the lyrics in a song that touched me the the core. Belief by John Mayer. I can't help but have that song in my heart while I read this man's story.
