Entering another world. Kings and fighting over land. 2 kingdoms fighting together.

A decision to be made but will it be the right one?

Snow wars. What a small thing that creates large emotions.

Erise gets it. Blood or chosen, family is family and family helps one another.

Fear has to fade to truly see the life in front of you, you’re supposed to live.

“Men say one thing, and women’s minds fill in gaps of meaning. Women say one thing aloud and another silently, and they expect men to hear through the deafening sounds of the silence they hear and the screaming inside women’s heads. If you care for a woman and what she thinks of the words from your mouth, take care in choosing them.” Teren and the reader will learn a lot from Mara if the book keeps this up.

There is already so much going on in this book but Mara gives you hope. And everything happens for a reason.

“The only person in this city who believes that of you is yourself,” he said quietly, then he smiled. “Look up.”

Aster is finally coming out of the fog and things aren’t what she thought they were.

Phew is all I can say even with the bad going on.

“Never moving forward, never changing?” I went on. “What a sad existence that would be.”

Careful, I asked, “So you would actually . . . want to be there?”
“Are you serious?” Her eyes went so wide. “My god, the entire city would be there if you’d let them.”
My brow furrowed. “Why?”
“Because you’re like . . . their princess,” she said. “Their little psychotic princess who makes death threats and kills Reapers.” BEST LINES EVER!

I can not believe that knife in the back!

So many twists and turn!! I can’t put it down!

I am only starting chapter 7 and I can’t put it down! Reave bleeds perfectly into Elude and I love every minute of it. You think you know what will happen but then what you think doesn’t happen. Such a magical, bad ass world C. Miller has made with this series so far.

Fantastic. This book really hits home with me

I haven't tried to read this in a long time so I am going to start with new eyes very soon. I enjoyed the first one so this one should not be hard to get into.
