Oh my, she's insufferable.

I decided to give book one another try to see if I like it more on a reread (currently my least favourite in the series) and apparently I'd forgotten just how gross Zanders was at the start of this book. Immediate ick that he never recovers from. I fear my rating isn't likely to change.

How did this get labelled a romance book?!? This is a horror. If this is what we consider romance in 2025, I'm glad I found it 2006 instead.

It's funny to me how this book started with these two calling each other depraved and deviants for the kinky shit they're into... and then have proceeded to have the most vanilla of sex over and over again 😂. The books good so I don't care, but I do find it funny.

If they meet up one more time and have the EXACT SAME fight for the 100th time, im throwing the book across the room!

I feel like this book could win the second chance romance award for dumbest reason two people originally broke up. I've never wanted to watch a man fail more.

This started so so well, but my god, I'm dying of boredom now. I really don't care enough about made up, rose-tinted glasses viewed US politics to want to read 100s of pages about it. Henry and Alex are everything but this is being dragged down by everything else.

I genuinely hate the both of them. I don't buy that they were in a relationship for EIGHT years and couldn't just talk to each other.
