What a delightful surprise!

In LOVE with this so far wow. Incredible writing I love it.

I’ve laughed out loud so much at the gargoyle in chapter 22 loved this chapter. This reminds me so much of powerless, and a couple other romantic books, but this is better than all of them. It’s fun and light. The romance is not the main point of the book which I really appreciate. Love the atmosphere in the story. What a fun read so far.

I am DNF this book. This is extremely blasphemous and demonic holy wow this is was so uncomfortable to read I refuse to finish this

Wow how is this so much better than the Sword of Shanara? This read through is going by so much faster! I was dragging my feet and don't even remember half of was happened in The Sword because it felt so dull and like a LOTR rip off (TBH this also feel way too much LOTR still) but this is much more engaging and actually interested in was is going to happen next. Glad I picked this up!

I am still waiting for the good part. It's certainly not bad, I'm quite neutral at the moment. Hopefully it will get better !! Feeling very monotonous even though it should be thoroughly exciting.

I hate this book.

I am so shocked by how greatly I am enjoying this book. I’m already rating it at five stars cause I know I will be rereading this. It lives up to every bit of praise it has received, and more people should read this book. I suppose I should finish it before I say that though 🫣

I’m not sure why I was expecting not to like this book, but I’m thoroughly enjoying this book very much. It is completely not what I expected! It’s so fun reading massively popular classic books, and not really having any idea what the book is actually about
